Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

In short: this site sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising tools, and only collects personal information if you write to us. What you write to us is used only to answer you.

This policy covers the michoozon.com website. The apps and websites of our products (Nuzalo, Clockit, Samwell, Guide Canada) each have their own policy, published with them.

Who we are

Michoozon Inc., a corporation based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Email: contact@michoozon.com.

Person in charge of protecting personal information

The President of Michoozon Inc. is responsible for the protection of personal information. For any question, request or complaint: contact@michoozon.com, with “Privacy” in the subject line.

What we collect, and why

The contact form. When you send it, we receive your name, your email address, your message and the language of the page (French or English). This information is used only to read your request and answer you. All three fields are needed for that purpose; if you prefer, you can also email us directly.

Emails. If you write to contact@michoozon.com, we receive your address and what you send, for that same sole purpose.

Visiting the site. Like any website, the server technically receives each visitor’s IP address and browser type. We do not use them to identify or track you, and we compile no statistics from them.

We do not sell, rent or trade any personal information. We do not add you to any mailing list or send you promotional messages without your express consent. We make no automated decisions about you.

Cookies and tracking

None. The site sets no cookies and uses no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no social media buttons. Typefaces are hosted on the site itself: your browser contacts no other service to display them.

Our service providers, and where the data is

We use three service providers, which process information on our behalf, on our instructions, and only to provide that service:

These providers may process and store information outside Canada and Quebec, including in the United States. There, it is subject to the laws of those countries, and their authorities may, in some cases, access it. Each provider is contractually bound to protect the information, to use it only to provide its service to us, and to secure it (encrypted connections, restricted access). On request, we will give you our practices regarding these providers in writing, including the countries where they process information. The President of Michoozon Inc. answers your questions about this.

How long

We keep your messages for as long as it takes to answer you and follow up on your request, then for no more than 24 months after our last exchange, unless a law or an ongoing contract requires us to keep them longer (an invoice, for example). After that, we delete them.

Security

The site is only available over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to the mailbox is limited to the people at Michoozon who need it to answer you. If a privacy breach created a risk of significant harm, we would notify you and the competent authorities, as the law requires.

Your rights

Wherever you live in Canada, you can:

Write to contact@michoozon.com. We answer free of charge, no later than 30 days after receiving your request. We may ask you to confirm your identity, only to the extent necessary. If we refuse, we will tell you why in writing. In Quebec, you may also receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.

Complaints

Please write to us first: we will try to resolve the situation. Every complaint is received and reviewed by the President. We acknowledge it, look into the situation and answer you in writing no later than 30 days after receiving it. Only the people who need your information to answer you have access to it, and we delete it within the periods stated above.

You may also contact the competent authority. In Quebec, if we refuse a request for access or correction, or do not answer it within 30 days, you have 30 days to submit the disagreement to the Commission d’accès à l’information. Depending on where you live, the competent authority is:

In the other provinces and in the territories, federal law applies to our activities, and the federal Commissioner receives complaints.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information about children under 14.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page, with its date.
